Accept - Metal Heart

“Have you seen the new Accept?” he said as he pulled out the record. It was their new album Metal Heart.
“No way!” I said admiring the cover. “I’ve been waiting for this one. Put it on!”
“Udo sounds killer as usual,” I mentioned as we listened to the title cut.
“Wait until you hear the guitar solo,” said Omar. “You’re gonna trip.”
“Really? Ok,” I said. “Sounds good so far. Wait. What?!”
All of a sudden, the song went into a classical melody.
“Is that Beethoven?” I knew that melody from somewhere.
“Yeah,” he said. “But keep listening.”
The rhythm section stopped playing and Wolf Hoffmann kept soloing with no backup. That lasted for about 30 seconds or so until he went back into the classical riff. Then the band joined back in and it sounded even heavier.
“That was kind of genius,” I said. “The way they threw in that melody.”
