AC/DC - Who Made Who Tour
AC/DC was another one. And now they were touring for their Who Made Who album. I was a little surprised that they were touring for this one since it was mostly a compilation album. But it did have a couple new instrumentals, and of course the title track “Who Made Who”. It was released as a soundtrack to the Stephen King movie Maximum Overdrive. I loved finding out that Stephen King was a big AC/DC fan. I remembered hearing him say he liked to crank up their music while he was writing. If I ever got into writing, I would do the same thing.
So now they were playing the Cow Palace and Queensrÿche were opening. Queensrÿche did a good set of mostly their newer stuff but I was happy they threw in Queen of the Reich from their original EP.
It was funny the way AC/DC started their set. Their opening song was “Who Made Who” and the stage was full of Angus Young look-alikes playing cardboard cut out guitars. These were winners from a recent Angus look-alike contest from a radio station. They gradually all left the stage until only the real Angus remained.
