As they started playing I was admiring the stage setup. They were playing in front of a backdrop of a dystopian city. Tommy Lee's drum set looked like it was on top of a pile of rocks. And his 2 bass drums each displayed a pentagram. Nikki Sixx was playing his white BC Rich Warlock bass and Mick Mars was playing his black Les Paul.

After the first couple songs, Vince Neil started talking to the crowd. He said he wanted all of us to yell “fuck you". He pointed the mic at the crowd and we all yelled "fuck you!" I cracked up at first but it actually felt good letting out some aggression. He said he couldn’t hear us. We needed to do it one more time. I looked to my side and saw the girl I noticed earlier yelling "fuck you!" Then she looked over with a smile. We were all under the spell.
