Rock N Roll Crazy Nights

When we finished the song, the crowd was cheering us on. Then something caught me off guard. I couldn’t believe it when someone in the crowd actually yelled “play some Skynyrd.” That was something we joked about before but I never thought it would actually happen. Luckily, we were prepared.
“Alright you fuckers,” said Rose with a chuckle. “You want Skynyrd? We’ll give you Skynyrd.”
At first I was just trying to hold back laughter. But I got it together enough and played the opening riff to “Gimmie Three Steps”.

When we finished the last song, I started packing up my gear. Someone started yelling “encore”. At first I thought he was doing it as a joke but then some others started joining in. Before I knew it, everyone was yelling it.

We hadn’t planned on playing an encore since we were just opening this time. But we had enough time to squeeze in one more song. We decided to do a cover that we hadn’t yet done in front of a crowd.
“Alright everybody,” said Rose. “You guys have been an awesome crowd. We’re going to play one last song we think you’ll recognize. It’s by a band called Loudness. This is ‘Rock n Roll Crazy Nights’!”
