“Two years down, only two more to go,” said Mick when we got out of class. Tim walked over singing the chorus to “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper.
“Got any plans for the summer?” said Mick.
“I’m not sure,” said Tim. “To be honest, I don’t plan on doing much.”
“Because doing nothing means a lot to you?” said Mick with a smirk.
“You got it,” said Tim.
“How about you,” said Mick.
“Well I’m glad that school’s out,” I said. “Because now I have the whole summer to focus on my songwriting and getting better at guitar.”
“I hear ya,” said Mick. “I’m doing the same.”
“And this is our chance,” said Tim, “to get stronger as a band.”
